good for you

We don’t release a Sproutwise product unless we are thrilled to use it in our own household. We are parents and our products are as much for us as they are for you.

good for baby

As parents the health of your baby is #1. We understand — we’re parents too. Healthy materials, thoughtful design. Quality and safety throughout.

good for mother earth

We strive to produce every Sproutwise product in an earth-friendly manner. Whenever possible we use local and sustainable materials and minimal packaging.

What We Make

Thirsty Bib -- Waterproof, absorbent bib with fleece neck protector

We took the time to consider every detail of this bib, to make you and baby happier. All the edges are soft and comfortable, and the special fleece neck guard feels great while also helping to prevent neck rashes caused by dribbles.

You want the best for your baby, and their health is a big part of that. We make our bibs from 100% cotton that is lined with non-toxic TPU waterproof coating. The coating resists mildew and mold, which is essential for keeping your loved ones healthy. We also use snaps instead of velcro for quick, secure adjustments that won't itch or scratch.

In addition to being good for your family, we think our products should be good for the environment. The durable, waterproof fabric will last for years, even when faced with the messiest of eaters. And when its work is finally done, it is completely biodegradable.

Folding Pack and Play Mattress

Have you ever noticed that the "mattress" inside most Pack and Plays is hard as a rock?

Have you noticed that you can buy a cheap foam mattress for it, but the mattress doesn't fold up to travel easily?

So did we. So we created this!

Starting with a core of natural latex rubber (super comfy and plush!) we wrapped it with a soft organic cotton fabric. The resulting mattress is comfortable for baby, and travels easily for you. One of our testers said their baby slept better on this mattress than on their own bed!

Of course, being a mattress, it also meets all Federal fire codes, and is free of all unnecessary chemicals (lead free, BPA free, Phthalate free).

We are extremely proud of this mattress, and we hope you love it too.

This mattress is 38" long, and weighs about 9 pounds (latex is heavy but comfy and natural!)

25 Width" fits most pack-n-plays

27" Width, for some new, wider pack-n-plays

New for 2017

By popular request, we now also produce polyurethane-foam-core versions of these mattresses!

Why, you ask?

The #1 complaint we have heard about our latex-foam-core mattresses is that they are heavy. Latex foam is indeed heavy stuff! At about 9 pounds, we definitely can see how some folks found the mattress a bit too heavy to travel with.

The other concern some parents have is firmness; latex foam is just not as firm as polyurethane can be, and especially for very young ones some worried that the latex was too soft. So this one is intentionally about 30% firmer!

If you would rather have a mattress that weighs just over 4 pounds, for easy portability, we have just what you need! They also happen to be a little bit cheaper, as polyurethane foam is less expensive. Everything else about these mattresses is the same as our original latex-core mattress, including the carry bag that they all now come with.

Fitted Pack-n-Play Sheet

A sleeping baby is a beautiful thing. That's why we designed this sheet to make your baby as comfortable as possible. We used super-soft bamboo on the top, and laminated a food-grade waterproof liner to the inside for built-in mattress protection.

This sheet is 38" by 25" and has extra deep pockets to fit most pack-n-plays or portable cribs, with or without an extra mattress. The sturdy elastic band will keep it snug and lying smooth for years.

Hypoallergenic and free from nasty chemicals, this sheet is designed for baby's comfort and health.

From time to time we have "seconds" and unused-but-open-box returns which we can offer for less than the price of new retail... you can check them out here!

Fitted Crib Sheet

So you like the sound of our pack-and-play sheet but your child is sleeping in a crib instead?

We have you covered.

Our crib-size fitted sheet is 52" by 27.5" and has extra deep pockets to fit crib mattresses 6" thick.

We use sustainably harvested bamboo for our sheets, and intentionally crafted them to be long-lasting in order to reduce environmental impact. We keep our packaging to a minimum on purpose, so there is less to throw away or recycle.
